“From Fieldwork to Impact: Using Creative Methods to Tackle Global Health Inequalities”

Dr Tash Fothergill-Misbah is a postdoctoral researcher in Global Public Health at Newcastle University. She works on the NIHR-funded Transforming Parkinson’s Care in Africa project and leads research funded by British Academy and Medical Research Foundation.  Tash is a documentary producer, winner of an NU Engagement and Place Award 2025, and advises the World Health Organization on Parkinson’s disease policy, focusing on access to medicines.
